Job Description:
The Auto Body Apprentice repairs minor vehicle damage while shadowing a licensed Auto Body Technician. The Auto Body Apprentice works with all team members in achieving the repair facilities' KPIs.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
- Repairs vehicles as per insurance guidelines and our quality standards
- Inspect and disassemble the vehicle to determine all damages at the beginning of the repair
- Repair minor damage to vehicle's body panels
- Repair or replace interior and exterior parts, electrical components and vehicle accessories
- Reassemble vehicle once repairs are complete
- Inspect completed work to ensure the repair is up to quality standards
- Shadow a Licensed Auto Body Technician to perform repairs
- Actively pursues learning opportunities and applies newly gained knowledge to tasks, contributing to high-quality work and continuous improvement.
Minimum Education and/or Experience Required for the Job
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of Post-Secondary Education in an Auto Body Repair Program
- Minimum 1 years of Auto Body Technician experience
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Welding experience (MIG, TIG welding)
Other Requirements Travel, physical requirements, etc.
- Frequently required to bend, crouch, reach, handle tools and lift approximately 50 lbs.
- You have your own toolbox
- Valid driver's license required

Compensation:
$40,000 - $85,000 per year
Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience.
