BMC AUTO COLLISION INC. is looking for an Automotive Detailer/Auto Body Apprentice to join our team
- Daily tasks will include washing, cleaning, polishing and performing general upkeep on new and previously owned vehicles' interior and exterior to ensure they are clean and presentable for customers and also Auto Body Apprentice is able to review repair orders, disassemble vehicles for estimators to assess damage and reassemble vehicles after repair with new/used parts and/or other components.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform general vehicle detailing activities, including: vacuum, shampoo, deodorize, wash and wax using appropriate cleaners, applicators and cleaning equipment.
- Buff vehicles exterior with non-abrasive products.
- Wet sand vehicle exterior.
- Clean engine and engine compartments with pressurized cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents to remove grease and grime.
- Mix cleaning solutions, abrasive compositions, or other compounds/solutions according to formulas.
- Remove scratches.
- Clean and polish wheels and rims.
- Use cloths, squeegees, or air compressors to dry surfaces of vehicles.
- Notify supervisor when you notice parts of the vehicle that may require repair or replacement.
- Perform other tasks based on management requirements and instructions.
- Ability to review repair orders and perform the job as efficiently as possible.
- Ability and willingness to follow standardized production processes.
- Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components
- Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills using wrenches and cutting torch and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
- Disassemble vehicles for estimators to better assess vehicle damage.
- Reassemble vehicles.

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Ontario G Driver’s License.
- Clear Driver’s Abstract.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
- Must have manual transmission driving experience.
