Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Joiner to join our construction and manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, woodworking, and various construction techniques. This role involves working on diverse projects that require precision, craftsmanship, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics. The Joiner will play a vital role in creating, installing, and repairing structures and components across residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate project execution
- Construct, assemble, and install woodwork such as cabinets, flooring, siding, and framing components
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work as needed for various projects
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and other equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with restoration projects including siding repair, roofing, caulking, and general building maintenance
- Install flooring, siding, and perform finishing carpentry tasks such as trim, wall paneling & cabinetry etc.
- Measure accurately for cuts and fittings; ensure all work meets safety standards and quality specifications
- Collaborate with project managers to estimate materials needed and assist in construction estimating when required
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely during material handling and installation processes
Experience
- Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or related construction fields
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes
- Experience with concrete forming, masonry, rebar installation, roofing, siding installation, or similar trades is preferred
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other relevant equipment
- Knowledge of construction safety protocols and ability to adhere to OSHA standards
- Prior experience in restoration projects or cabinetry installation is a must
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; physical stamina for demanding tasks is essential
