Jr. Cabinetmaker

Custom millwork shop in East Vancouver has a full-time position available for a Jr. Cabinetmaker / Joiner with previous experience in production work.

Our shop is not a high-production facility. We specialize in commercial construction & renovation of cafes, restaurants, retail, office interiors, and select residential projects; We seek to expand our millwork team as our growth continues.

Skill Requirements:

• Qualified Trades Carpenter / Joiner / Cabinetmaker – some experience preferred
• Ability to assemble cabinets & furniture from start to finish with efficiency, accuracy, to a high level of finish quality
• CAD shop drawing interpretation
• Familiarity with conventional shop machinery & hand tools
• English proficiency & strong communication skills required.
• Works independently & collaboratively with efficiency and conscientiousness
• Valid BC Drivers License and reliable transportation – preferred, not required
• Strong work ethic, pride in workmanship, and a healthy sense of fun

Offering a starting rate of $25 - $35 per hour (based on experience), opportunities for advancement in position and earnings are numerous.
