Job Description:

On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is seeking a Technical Analyst to be responsible for enhancing and maintaining IT disaster recovery and asset management repositories, ensuring data integrity and compliance. Leverages Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, Power Automate, Teams) to design and optimize solutions, while collaborating with IT teams to translate business needs into functional workflows and documentation. Provides training, conducts audits, troubleshoots technical issues, and supports testing to guarantee system reliability and security, reporting progress directly to program management.

Responsibilities:


• Spearheading the enhancement and maintenance of IT data for disaster recovery and asset management repositories, ensuring their robustness and reliability.


• Harnessing the capabilities of Microsoft 365 tools, such as SharePoint, Power Automate, and Teams, to design and optimize disaster recovery solutions.


• Collaborating closely with IT teams to understand the repository's technical requirements, making sure it meets organizational objectives and standards.


• Translating business needs into functional specifications, workflows, and design documents, ensuring seamless integration of the repositories into the program(s).


• Conducting regular audits of the repositories to ensure data accuracy, system integrity, and compliance with eHealth's standards.


• Providing training and support to eHealth staff on utilizing the repositories, leveraging Microsoft 365 tools effectively.


• Troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues or challenges related to the repositories, ensuring minimal downtime.


• Assisting in the development and execution of test plans to validate repository functionality, data integrity, and security measures.


• Working alongside the program manager to communicate progress, challenges, and milestones related to the disaster recovery repository's development and management.

Mandatory Resource Qualifications/Requirements


• Have a bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.


• Have a minimum of five (5) years experience working as a Technical Analyst.

Rated Resource Qualifications/Requirements

The proposed Resource should have the following qualifications and have experience fulfilling the following job requirements:


• Deep familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools, especially SharePoint, Power Automate, and Teams. A certification in Microsoft 365 would be an asset.


• Demonstrated experience in setting up, optimizing, and maintaining data repositories or similar platforms using Microsoft 365 tools.


• Proven ability to translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.


• Demonstrated experience in methodical approach to problem-solving with excellent troubleshooting skills.


• Experience in conducting audits, quality assurance tests, and data validation exercises.


• Experience in providing training and technical support to a diverse group of users, adapting explanations to varying technical proficiencies.
