OVERVIEW:
In this hybrid workstyle role based in Edmonton, you will be working in office and remotely as well as attending in-person meetings. The Major Accounts team serves Alberta Blue Cross' largest and most complex group customers 1000+ employees. Under the direction of the Manager, Major Accounts North, the successful candidate will be part of a team of five professionals responsible for ensuring the needs and expectations of our valued group customers are consistently met and exceeded.
The customer experience we deliver to our plan sponsors and plan members is second to none, and the expectation of the role of Major Accounts Support Specialist is to build, strengthen and sustain relationships with large group customers and their advisors.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Present and negotiate renewals, ensuring a balance between financial viability and the needs and expectations of our valued customers.
Follow up and ensure proper documentation and implementation of renewal action.
Assemble an annual review of plan design changes, plan member activity and financial information on a three (3) year basis to be presented with the renewal.
Plan for and attend in-person quarterly meetings with clients.
Assist and coordinate Requests for Proposals (RFPs) ensuring compliance to specifications, liaise with all parties, ensure information provided is current and accurate.
Lead enrollment and change activities of new and existing major accounts using a project management approach.
Ensure an effective, high level of scheduled service to customers in Edmonton and surrounding areas.
Strategize with group clients to assess and identify organizational wellness and benefits priorities and pain points. Research and propose Alberta Blue Cross solutions.
Document meetings to confirm discussion and follow up as required.
Lead or assist with benefit presentations to existing and potential customers.
Communicate directly with our customers about new or expanding products, services, or process changes within Alberta Blue Cross.
Investigate escalated eligibility and claim inquiries and ensure prompt follow-up with plan sponsor.
Oversee eligibility data exchange processes between plan sponsors and Alberta Blue Cross.
Monitor major accounts for opportunities for value added services and new lines of benefit.
Maintain Major Account contract and service files.
Attend group department meetings, conferences and sales related functions as required.
WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:
