Job Description

We are seeking a Contracts Administration Specialist to join our Contracts Management Team. This role plays a critical part in overseeing commercial and contractual compliance, and performance of contractors throughout the project lifecycle. The Contracts Administration Specialist is responsible for ensuring that commercial, contractual, schedule, and scope obligations are fulfilled efficiently and cost‑effectively, from contract award through execution, completion, and final contract closeout.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Engagement across the full project lifecycle for capital projects, from initiation through closeout.
  • Exposure to the "big picture" of project execution, collaborating closely with Fluor's Project Management and our clients
  • Participation in the multi-discipline coordination of scopes of work, working with Engineering, Cost & Scheduling, Quality, Safety and Construction to develop comprehensive Request for Proposal (RFP) packages.
  • Identifying and prequalifying potential bidders, ensuring prequalification criteria are met and documented.
  • Evaluation of proposals in accordance with Canadian Tendering Laws, ensuring a fair, open, and transparent process and supporting the selection of the most commercially and technically appropriate recommendations for our clients.
  • Facilitation of key contractor meetings, including pre‑proposal discussions, proposal clarifications, and contract kick‑off sessions.
  • Coordination and administration of contract documents, securing all required agreements and signatures.
  • Field‑level contractor support, including leading, participating in, and documenting weekly progress review meetings; processing invoices; managing change; and verifying and negotiating cost or schedule adjustments during execution.
  • Execution of comprehensive contract closeout procedures, ensuring final agreement on all commercial and contractual matters and completion of all documentation requirements.
Basic Job Requirements
  • Graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or other related Business discipline in 2025/2026.
  • Ability to work effectively within Fluor's multidisciplinary task‑force project structure. Successful candidates will collaborate closely with colleagues across multiple functions and must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to ensure effective coordination, accurate documentation, and alignment among all project stakeholders.
  • Willingness and ability to support contract management activities in both home‑office and field environments. Candidates may work from the home office during the Request for Proposal (RFP) and bidding phases, contributing to contract strategy, preparation, and evaluation. Following contract award, the Contracts Management Specialist may mobilize to the project site to administer the contract, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and supporting execution activities throughout the construction phase.
