Plant Care Labourer

Location: Battleford, SK

Department: Production & Operations

Reports to: Team Leader, Production/Operations Manager.

Key Relationships: Processing & Production

Role Purpose/ Summary: Plant care maintenance including cloning, feeding, transplanting, staking, and pruning, and other duties as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining compliance with the laws, regulations and or standards
• All pruning and de-leafing events within grow rooms
• All transplanting, planting & soil tests within grow rooms
• All feeding of water, nutrients, etc.
• Room cleaning, equipment cleaning (pots, stakes, etc.) Sanitation of all plant care equipment.
• Maintenance of equipment within grow rooms
• Completing and preparing appropriate documentation as required
• Communication with room leaders
• Keeping a daily record of in room tasks completed
• Visually inspect plants for any concerning features such as discoloration or disease and report any findings to Shift Lead or Supervisor immediately.
• Remove plant waste from area.
• Understand and follow all related SOPs and procedures to GMP standards.
• Application of soil amendments, assisting in scouting for IPM issues & assisting in application of biological controls & pesticides.
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by leaders/managers

Qualifications:

• Minimum one (1) year experience in a teamwork environment and in a manufacturing and processing environment an asset but not required
• Knowledge of Cannabis Act and Regulations an asset but not required
• Must be 19 years of age or older
• Must pass a criminal record check

+$2.00/hour Premium Pay if ended up working weekend shift and holidays
