We are Visioneers. We are WSP.The Opportunity Shape Something Different. Join WSP's Overhead Transmission Lines team in Toronto for an 8–12 month student placement. Within the Power Delivery subsector, you'll support the design of medium to extra-high voltage overhead transmission lines, structures, foundations, and related facilities. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience in power delivery and contribute to projects that keep communities connected and powered.Your ImpactSupport the design and delivery of transmission line projects and studies across Canada and the US.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions for power delivery systems.Assist in preparing technical drawings, models, reports, and calculations that influence project decisions.Apply engineering principles to real-world challenges in energy infrastructure and sustainability.The Skills That Set You ApartCurrently enrolled in an accredited co-op program in civil, mechanical, electrical, or engineering physics.Completion of coursework in power systems engineering (for electrical/engineering physics students) or structural analysis and foundations (for civil students) is an asset.Familiarity with AutoCAD or other design/analysis software.Previous engineering design or drafting experience is desirable.Strong organizational skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.Why Choose WSP? MB & ON: $22.50 – $30.25 per hour
