Osgoode Properties Limited, a leader in rental property management, has an opening for a summer student Maintenance Worker. Reporting to the Regional Manager, the student is responsible for completing all tasks to improve the reliability, safety, and cleanliness of the building. The individual ensures that work is completed on time, to high standards and that all safety protocols are always followed. A polished and professional approach to customer service is beneficial in maintaining the Osgoode Properties' corporate image.

Requirements:

  • Strong communications skills in English 
  • Ability to work unsupervised and work as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize work accordingly
  • Exceptional customer service skills

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Remove garbage and complete litter picks on the property
  • Ensure regular cleaning of common areas including and not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning of all halls, light fixtures, emergency lights, fire extinguishers, landings, entrances, elevators, laundry room, and office area 
  • Maintain grounds and garden beds (i.e. trimming, planting, weeding, and watering)
  • Interior and exterior painting
  • Ensure work is completed on time, to high standards
  • Complete light to medium work, lifting to 50 lbs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 Safety footwear is required at all times. 

On-site position:  Baywood Park

Other:  Access to a reliable vehicle is an asset

Hours of work:  Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (40 hours per week)

Rate of pay: $20.00 hour

Use of personal cell phone:  $20 per pay period (bi-weekly)

Employment period:  May 4 – August 28, 2026
