Roles and Responsibilities:
- Reception and administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and responding to patient inquiries in person, email, and on the telephone
- Greeting and arriving patients
- Booking and confirming a variety of appointments and preparations
- Answering telephones and responding to messages in a professional and timely manner
- Sorting and booking incoming faxes
Required skills and experience:
- Medical office experience
- Demonstrated high quality, compassionate, customer centered experience
- Proven ability to work proficiently and independently in a busy fast paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
- Proficiency in technology including MS Office
- EMR systems experience - VELOX
- OBSP experience is an asset
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to deal with sensitive information with a high degree of privacy and diplomacy
- Team orientation
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
