About the Role

This position is for a Senior Technical Program Manager. In this role, you will coordinate complex projects across multiple squads or product areas, acting as a critical bridge between engineering teams, product management, and leadership. You will manage the planning and execution of high-impact technical programs that directly contribute to business goals while fostering Agile practices and coaching teams toward excellence. Your expertise in both technical concepts and program management methodologies will enable you to drive successful feature delivery and influence strategic decisions. You will be a trusted escalation point who brings clarity to ambiguity and ensures that engineering efforts align tightly with broader business objectives.

What You'll Do

  • Program Leadership: Track and report on planning and execution of projects, programs, and roadmaps across multiple squads or product areas, ensuring alignment with business strategy
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with engineering teams, product managers, architects, and leadership to orchestrate successful feature delivery and product launches
  • Agile Coaching and Process Excellence: Influence and mentor teams in Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), driving continuous improvement in development processes and helping teams achieve higher performance
  • Escalation Management: Act as a project and product escalation point, working with engineering and leadership teams to resolve blockers and deliver solutions to complex challenges
  • Strategic Alignment: Ensure engineering projects and priorities align with and support broader business goals, balancing customer needs, strategic impact, and competing priorities
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify, assess, communicate, and mitigate program risks and dependencies across complex, multi-team initiatives
  • Process Improvement: Champion best practices in project management tools, reporting, analytics, and business intelligence; identify trends and drive organizational improvements

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in technical program management, project management, or related roles
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Certification in Agile methodologies (CSM, PMI-ACP, Agile Coach, etc.) or project management (PMP)
  • Proven track record coordinating complex projects across multiple engineering teams and product areas
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) with demonstrated experience coaching teams in Agile practices
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to influence senior leaders and drive consensus across diverse groups
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate risks in complex, multi-faceted programs

  • Experience managing programs in emerging technology spaces
  • Track record of driving organizational change and process improvement initiatives
  • Strong technical writing skills and ability to create compelling presentations and reports
  • Empathetic relationship-builder who fosters positive, collaborative work environments
  • Strategic thinker who approaches complex challenges with maturity and a solutions-oriented mindset
