The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment , trucks ,trailers to ensure optimal operational efficiency. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong technical background to contribute to the smooth functioning of our operations while working in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues accurately using diagnostic tools and techniques
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems promptly
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery as needed
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times
Experience
- Proven experience as a Truck& Trailer mechanic , Red Seal preferred
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components is desirable
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Prior experience with diagnostic tools and repair equipment is advantageous
- Relevant certifications or technical training in mechanical maintenance is a plus
This position requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks and a commitment to safety standards. Candidates should possess strong technical skills, be able to work independently or as part of a team, and demonstrate a dedication to quality workmanship.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship
Pay: $25.00-$48.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Work Location: In person
