Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
  • Diagnose mechanical issues accurately using diagnostic tools and techniques
  • Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems promptly
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
  • Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery as needed
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Truck& Trailer mechanic , Red Seal preferred
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components is desirable
  • Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams effectively
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Prior experience with diagnostic tools and repair equipment is advantageous
  • Relevant certifications or technical training in mechanical maintenance is a plus

This position requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks and a commitment to safety standards. Candidates should possess strong technical skills, be able to work independently or as part of a team, and demonstrate a dedication to quality workmanship.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $25.00-$48.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
