You are a natural communicator who understands the importance of responsiveness, professionalism, and accuracy.

We're looking for someone who:
- Has strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Is confident speaking with clients, scheduling consultations, and managing intake forms
- Understands the basics of legal processes or has worked in a law office environment before
- Can handle competing deadlines with professionalism and attention to detail
- Learns fast and enjoys mastering efficient systems and processes
- Is eager to grow into a senior administrative or operations role
Approximately 70% Client Intake / 30% Legal Assistant responsibilities.
Intake Responsibilities (70%)
- Acting as the first point of contact for new client inquiries.
- Conducting intake calls and conflict checks.
- Scheduling consultations with lawyers.
- Preparing intake forms, engagement materials, and checklists.
- Following up with clients post-meeting for documentation and onboarding.
- Managing CRM data entry and maintaining client pipeline updates.
Legal Assistant Responsibilities (30%)
- Assisting with preparation of correspondence, court forms, and filing.
- Organizing case documents and maintaining digital file systems.
- Coordinating with lawyers for deadlines, client updates, and document execution.
- Supporting operational workflows and maintaining compliance with firm policies.
- Diploma or degree in Law Clerk, Paralegal, or Legal Administration (preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience in a law firm or professional office setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking ability
- Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe, and CRM or practice management software (Cosmolex, Clio, or similar)
- Professional phone manner and ability to handle clients with discretion and empathy
- Experience with intake or sales systems (HubSpot, Cosmolex, etc.)
- Familiarity with Rules of Civil Procedure or Small Claims processes
- Bilingualism (asset, not required)
- Business acumen or prior client-facing experience
Compensation: $55,000–$75,000/year based on experience and performance
Career Growth: Clear pathway into Legal Operations, Paralegal / Law Clerk / Legal Assistant, or Management roles
Training: Comprehensive onboarding, manuals, and ongoing mentorship
Work Environment: Professional, fast-paced, and collaborative
Performance Incentives: Salary progression and bonuses tied to performance, benefits after 6 months

SCHEDULE- Monday to Friday — 9:00am to 5:00pm
- Fully onsite (Yorkville, Toronto)
- Must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work
