About Us:

Power Express is a courier service, providing local deliveries to our customers with the greater Edmonton area.

Position Summary:

Power Express is looking for a permanent full time employee able to drive a 1/2 ton truck or 2 ton flat deck truck with 30 or 40ft trailer. You will be delivering different size packages/pallets in Edmonton and the surrounding area. The ideal candidate will be flexible with working hours, physically capable of carrying multiple deliveries per day, comfortable with navigating a smartphone handheld and most importantly exhibit safe driving practices at all times. The ideal candidate will also be courteous, kind, and provide great customer service to our customers.

Job Duties and Responsibilities;

  • Complete pre-trip inspections
  • Complete deliveries within specified time frames
  • Loading and unloading packages on the vehicle/trailer

Skills required;

  • Excellent customer service and attention to detail
  • Be courteous and joyful to our client patients
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Able to adapt to a dynamic work environment
  • Able to effectively navigate in highly congested traffic areas
  • Competent using a smartphone device

Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid AB Full Class 5 drivers license
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess a smartphone
  • Previous courier experience is an asset

Job Types:

Salary: TBD upon hire

  • Monday to Friday
