Job Overview

Pier Pharmacy is seeking a reliable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a medication delivery role. This position is ideal for an LPN who enjoys working independently, is comfortable driving within the community, and is committed to ensuring patients receive their medications safely, accurately, and on time. A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver prescribed medications to patients at their homes or care facilities in a timely and professional manner.
  • Verify patient identity and medication details prior to delivery.
  • Provide basic medication education to patients and caregivers, including dosage, administration, and storage instructions.
  • Administer medications when required, in accordance with established protocols and scope of practice.
  • Monitor patients for potential side effects or adverse reactions and report concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, patient interactions, and medication-related notes.
  • Communicate effectively with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Ensure medications are handled, transported, and stored safely and securely at all times.

Qualifications

  • Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable personal vehicle (mandatory).
  • Comfortable driving and working independently in the community.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care.
  • Experience in medication administration, home care, or community-based roles is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
