We are seeking a motivated and personable Showroom Sales Representative to join our team at our Winnipeg, MB location. In this role, you will work directly with homeowners, designers and contractors to help them find the perfect lighting solutions for their needs. Your ability to listen, advise and provide exceptional service will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist homeowners, interior designers & builders in selecting lights to meet function & design needs
  • Prepare quotes for contractors, designers and homeowners
  • Enthusiastically achieve sales objectives with existing and new customer base
  • Effectively respond to email and phone inquiries
  • Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge and how to troubleshoot issues
  • Educate customers with product information on a wide range of quality and high-end options
  • Expedite and follow up on orders
  • Assist with showroom merchandising and presentation
  • Assist other team members with transactions when necessary

Qualifications:

  • Previous retail sales or showroom experience preferred (lighting, home decor, or design industry an asset)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational and computer skills.
  • Ability to pursue sales with the attitude they do not come to you, you must go after them.
  • A passion for design and helping customers bring their vision to life.

Pay: $35,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
