Telecom Lineman

Job Summary

• Install, maintain and repair aerial and underground telecom infrastructure
• Use climbing gear, bucket trucks and equipment safely
• Read and interoperate construction prints, maps and schematics
• Excellent communicator in both written and verbal communication
• Mindful to work and conduct oneself safely in any environment
• Travel may be required
• Availability to participate On Call, scheduled evening shifts and emergency callouts
• Power Lineman & Pre apprentices considered
• Others as required

Prerequisites

• Must have a minimum of a valid class 5 license, reasonable driver abstract
• Class 1, 3 or Air Brake endorsement an asset
• Physically Fit.
• Have knowledge of Basic Hand Tools.
• Ability to Dig, Lift 50 Lbs. and have manual dexterity.
• Ability to work in a team environment and execute specific instructions throughout the workday.
• We are willing to train the right person

• Hourly Rate to be determined on previous experience and qualifications
• Accommodation and living out allowance provided
• EHB available after 3 months.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour
