Job Description:

The Lineman Apprentice will work with experienced professionals, learning the essentials of Telecom line installation, repair, and maintenance. You'll receive on-the-job training, gaining practical skills in operating bucket trucks and digger derricks, working at heights, and climbing utility poles. If you are eager to learn, physically fit, and looking for a long-term career in telecommunications, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair telecommunications lines.
  • Operate bucket trucks and digger derricks under supervision.
  • Learn to climb utility poles safely and perform tasks at heights.
  • Follow industry safety standards and protocols.
  • Support experienced linemen with day-to-day tasks and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong interest in becoming a lineman and learning all aspects of the trade.
  • Positive attitude, attention to detail, and safety-focused mindset.
  • Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Physically fit to handle the demands of the job.
  • Must have Class 3 driver's license with air brake endorsement

Assets (Not Required):

  • Prior experience in construction or related fields.
  • Knowledge of telecom or power line work.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and standards.
