This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on vehicle upkeep and operational efficiency.

Duties

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles, including trucks, vans, and other company assets
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to diagnose and repair mechanical issues
  • Conduct facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support operational needs
  • Assist with commercial cleaning and custodial responsibilities to maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Manage time effectively to prioritize repair schedules and ensure minimal vehicle downtime
  • Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors regarding maintenance status and issues
  • Heavy lifting of parts or equipment may be required during repairs or maintenance activities
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections

Requirements

  • Proven experience with hand tools, power tools, and facilities maintenance
  • Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred
  • Strong understanding of vehicle systems and mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
  • Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues
  • Customer service orientation to ensure positive interactions with internal clients or external vendors
  • Custodial experience is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00-$24.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
