It means you can help create an experience using a range of techniques and disciplines to collaboratively create protocols to address pain and injury in our clients so they can live their best life. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate psychologist to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in providing holistic healthcare services to our patients. You will utilize your expertise to assess, and treat various mental health conditions, with a focus on promoting overall wellness and maintaining a healthy balance.

What you can expect as part of your role:
● Administer psychological assessments and provide therapy to address patient concerns.
● Deliver evidence-based, culturally responsive and trauma-informed counselling.
● Educate patients about the principles and benefits of psychology, lifestyle modifications, and self-care practices to support their treatment plan and healing journey.
● Collaborate with other providers to incorporate their modalities to coordinate patient care and optimize and integrate treatment outcomes.
● Maintain accurate and detailed records, including patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
● Participate in creating online content for the website and social media.
What you bring to the team:
● Degree in Psychology from an accredited institution.
● Valid practitioner licence and in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists or an accredited and recognized association and professional liability insurance.
● Clinical training in evidence based approaches such as CBT, DBT, SBFT, ACT, EMDR, EFT, ERP, Gottman method, etc.
● Strong understanding and adherence to professional ethics.
● Ability to manage a diverse caseload within a dynamic work setting.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Maintain accurate patient records.
● Ability to work collaboratively, desire to grow as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
● Stay informed about the latest research, developments, and best practices through continuing education and professional development activities.
● First aid certification and criminal record check required.
