Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Data and Reporting Analyst – Intermediate and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to operational dashboards and data management within a collaborative, results-driven team. You will play a key role in managing security updates, executing data refreshes, validating dashboard data, and supporting project migrations, all within an agile framework that encourages professional growth and skill development.

Responsibilities

  • Manage security updates, including submitting active directory access requests for new users and updating tables that control row-level security for dashboards.
  • Handle user requests related to dashboard access and questions, reviewing shared inbox emails and providing timely support.
  • Execute SQL jobs and stored procedures to refresh critical data sets, validate these refreshes, and communicate statuses to the team.
  • Schedule and perform daily dashboard data refreshes, ensuring data accuracy and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Support project migration activities by submitting Jira requests, loading dashboards into GitHub, and validating dashboards post-publishing.
  • Participate in Agile project activities, such as gathering requirements, creating and updating Jira stories based on meetings and email requests.

Desired Skill-Set

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in data analysis or related roles.
  • Intermediate proficiency in SQL, with the ability to execute data refreshes, validate results, and perform data retrieval tasks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience within the banking or financial industry.
  • Knowledge of SAS.
  • Familiarity with GitHub and Jira.
  • Power BI Server administration skills.
