Your RoleAs Operations Manager, the successful candidate will oversee and manage the overall performance, maintenance, and safe, efficient operations of our Shantz Station Terminal. Day to Day
  • Responsible for the business development and customer service operations of the facility
  • Manage the quality control and blending of grain
  • Oversee the daily operation of the facility
  • Perform regular maintenance and repair on facility equipment
  • Supervise and develop elevator operators to ensure business needs are executed safely, efficiently and profitably
  • Oversee food safety compliance
  • Work collaboratively with other business areas and departments
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the operation of a grain elevator
  • Through knowledge and understanding of the grain industry, including grading factors and elevator equipment
  • Experience in team management or supervision, demonstrating effective leadership abilities
  • Proven analytical, critical thinking, and effective problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficient computer skills with aptitude for learning and adapting to new software applications
