Description

  • Oversee and manage all construction projects to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to align with organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Lead and mentor construction teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor budgets, schedules, and resources to optimize efficiency.
  • Evaluate and manage risks to ensure project success.
  • Foster relationships with contractors, suppliers, and partners.

Profile

A successful Vice President of Construction should have:

  • Proven expertise in construction management within the light industrial new build construction industry coming from a GC/CM environment.
  • Strong network of local market relationships to leverage for business development and acquiring new project opportunities.
  • People management experience, coaching and mentorship of teams.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills to guide teams effectively.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to foresee and mitigate risks.
