Sports Facility Attendant and Maintenance Worker

Seeking a well-motivated, responsible employee with experience in sports and recreation facilities. MUST be available on week nights/evenings and weekends. Our facility can operate on a 24/7 basis. Part-time/casual hours to be expected (roughly 3-4 shifts per week). We rely on our staff having a flexible schedule to cover last minute rentals, shifts, etc.. Access to a vehicle considered an asset.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Supervision of the facility. Indoor turf fields, indoor volleyball courts and basketball courts.

  • General repairs, and maintenance tasks. Must have high level of responsibility and initiative.

  • Preparing the facility for exceptional provision of services.

  • Excellent Customer Service.

  • Opening and closing facility.

  • Understanding dome operations.

  • Regular maintenance of facility (removing garbage, grooming field, various cleaning duties, etc...)

  • Operating company software; completing bookings and rentals.

  • Processing payments, petty cash handling, payment reconciliation.

  • Various other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in cleaning and customer service
  • MUST have knowledge or experience in minor repairs and general aptitude
  • Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance practices
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in facility management

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.50 per hour
