As we enhance our global expansion efforts and go-to-market strategy, we are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Manager, Content & Creative to join our high performing Marketing team.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Reporting to our Vice President of Marketing, the Senior Manager, Content & Creative will build a world class brand and lead Riva's content and creative functions. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience at an enterprise B2B SaaS company with an impressive background in creative strategy, concept development, and brand storytelling. A keen eye for design and a deep understanding of our target audience and market trends is integral to the role. The Senior Manager, Content & Creative will work with Marketing Leadership to help determine the creative vision of a brand or project and will manifest that vision through a strategic approach that includes digital, print, and video resulting in integrated campaigns tailored to appeal to the specific audience.
In this role, you will work closely with Event Marketing, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Digital and Direct Marketing, and our Sales teams to support their strategic initiatives and business objectives. You will support initiatives for all Riva product suites, including Activity Capture and Sales Engagement.
More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Provide leadership and coaching across marketing as a member of the marketing leadership team
- Working in collaboration with the VP, Marketing and cross-functional teams, lead the evolution of Riva's brand, visual identity, and content marketing program.
- Understand Riva's target audience, market trends, business objectives and business outcomes to help support and optimize marketing strategies with stakeholders
- Use your knowledge of the sales cycle, content marketing, and the marketing funnel to streamline creative deliverables/processes for sales enablement and marketing initiatives
- Identify opportunities to test and iterate to build pipeline and achieve overarching revenue objectives
- With the Content Marketing Manager, develop and ensure consistent application of the content development and quality assurance processes
- Collaborate with marketing/brand experts to develop and manage the company's written and brand guidelines—ensuring consistent and cohesive application across all touchpoints
- Apply best practices and industry standards in brand and conversion design, incorporating persuasive elements, great calls-to-action, and effective use of visual hierarchy and storytelling techniques
- Build trust through influence by sharing rationale for design decisions via data-driven insights
- Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing, promoting best practices, and inspiring the team to push the boundaries of design excellence
- Drive efficiency of the team by optimizing processes & workflow
- Understand and manage internal stakeholder requirements and expectations
- Contribute to budget discussions, manage spend and contractor relationships as required
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop hypotheses, experimental designs, and implementing tests to optimize ads, digital and print designs
- Analyze results to draw meaningful conclusions, identify winning variations, and share insights for future optimizations.
- Applying insights from experiments/projects to refine the user journey, aiming for better engagement, conversion rates, and customer experience
- Ensure consistency in messaging and branding throughout content and communications channels
- Keeping abreast of industry trends, new technologies (including AI), and best practices in design, social media, and UI/UX to identify opportunities for innovation and experimentation and stay competitive
- Additional duties and projects as assigned
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE?
- 5+ years' experience in a Content and Creative management role—preferably in a high-growth B2B SaaS company
- A post-secondary education in business, communications, graphic design or a related field
- Experience working in a similar role in a global B2B SaaS company in a highly-regulated industry such as financial services, life sciences, medical device, security and defence, or energy
- High caliber portfolio demonstrating a track record of successful content and/or creative assets
- Experience with design tools such as Adobe CS, Figma, Sketch, and/or XD
- Experience managing content roles such as content marketers and copywriters, supporting them and ensuring they are enabled and empowered to deliver
- Proficient with marketing analytics, reporting, how to use data to drive business decisions, and how content and creative can impact revenue
- Demonstrated track record in developing and executing A/B tests, analyzing and translating data into business and consumer insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate concepts, methodologies, and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Great interpersonal and project management skills to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team
- Flexibility & ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Strong English language verbal and written communications skills and equally impressive project management skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Experience across marketing functions with a solid understanding of how they work together to drive revenue generation and nurturing

We recognize this may result in you being in a different time zone.
