Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a keen understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent guest services throughout their dining experience.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Shift4 POS system.
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and pairings to enhance the guest experience.
  • Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation.
  • Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, addressing any concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and adherence to food safety standards.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash handling procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to health regulations and restaurant policies.
  • Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests as needed.
  • Support host/host duties during peak times, ensuring efficient guest flow.

Requirements

  • Previous restaurant experience is preferred, particularly in fine dining or upscale establishments.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with food handling practices, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately; experience with cashiering is a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
  • Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is advantageous.
  • Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is desirable but not mandatory.

  • Must be available to work weekends.
  • Must be available for morning shifts starting at 8:30 AM.
  • Must be available for evening shifts until closing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.80 per hour
