Winnipeg's original beauty bar, The Magic Room Spa, is looking for an experienced Nail Technician/ Aesthetician to join our growing team.

Our bright and spacious 7000 square foot beauty bar allows us the opportunity to offer all aesthetic spa services under one roof including: nails, clinical facials/ facials, body treatments and wraps, hair services, hair removal (waxing, sugaring, threading), lashes, brows and relaxation massages. We pride ourselves on providing the best service and experience to all of our valued guests and we are looking to grow our team with passionate, experienced and talented aestheticians that strive to be the best If you are an experienced Nail Technician and/or Aesthetician we are looking for you We are currently looking for the best talent Winnipeg has to offer. All successful candidates must have a minimum of 2 years experience, be hard working, self-motivated and a team player, while giving the best customer service at all times. Responsibilities:

  • Ability to provide basic manicures as well as shellac colour application
  • Ability to perform nail extensions, acrylic tip manicures, sculpted gel extensions, gel x and nail art
  • Provide relaxing pedicures that include hot stone massage and hot towel treatment
  • Able to examine and evaluate the condition and appearance of nails to provide advice on nail care
  • Outgoing personality with the ability to build lasting client relationships
  • Ability to perform lash extensions considered an asset
  • Interest in performing facials and body treatments also considered an asset
  • Possess natural consultative sales skills to provide information, advice and guidance to guests on beauty products, services and promotions
  • Use of sterilization equipment as well as adhering to safety practises and procedures a must

Requirements/ Qualifications:

  • Certification/Diploma - Nail Technician/ Aesthetician
  • Lash Extension Certificate considered an asset
  • Passionate about nails and the beauty industry
  • Shellac Application, Gel extensions, Acrylic and Gel X ( Aprés Nails) extensions
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Team player

Compensation:
