Pastry Cook

Edge Catering, an established, thriving corporate and event catering company. Our custom-built facility is in the East Village and features a Café, catering kitchen, baking and pastry kitchen, tasting room and offices.

We are looking for an experienced pastry cook to join our team.

We could consider a senior position as Sous Pasty Chef. It will be based on experience, knowledge and skills.

General Responsibilities:

  • Prep daily orders for corporate and special events
  • Work with our team
  • Follow all recipes and standards
  • Write and follow prep lists
  • Organize and maintain freezers, fridges and storage
  • Maintenance and cleaning of all equipment and work spaces

Requirements:

  • Pastry School Diploma
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a pastry cook
  • FoodSafe level 1
  • Legal to work in Canada (minimum 2 years on work permit)

We are currently hiring for part time positions, with minimum 2 - 3 days per week. Requires availability on weekends and early mornings.

We are looking for an energetic, dialed-in professional candidate with a great attitude, flexible and solid skills in the kitchen.
