We are seeking a dedicated and passionate tutor/instructor to join our team. As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in educating and supporting students. This position offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' academic growth and development.

Duties:

- Provide one on one tutoring or teach in a small, group-based environment via Zoom

  • Create engaging and interactive learning experiences to enhance students' understanding of the material and improve their English language skills.
  • Assist students with homework assignments, test preparation, and academic projects.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Utilize effective teaching strategies to motivate and inspire students to reach their full potential.
  • Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment conducive to academic success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university is required.
  • 3-5 years of experience tutoring/teaching high school English.
  • Familiar with Ontario curriculum.
  • Proven ability to maintain a safe and inclusive Zoom classroom environment.
