Position Overview:

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic bilingual (French/English) Kids Coding & STEM Instructor to join our growing team. As a remote instructor, you will teach live, interactive online classes focused on coding, robotics, and STEM topics to K–12 students in both English and French.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about working with children, fluent in French and English, and has a strong ability to make complex technical concepts easy to understand and exciting to learn.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach live online STEM and coding classes to K–12 students in French and English using platforms such as Scratch, Roblox, and Python
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration
  • Provide hands-on guidance as students work through coding challenges, projects, and activities
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive virtual learning environment for students of all skill levels
  • Adapt lesson plans and instructional approaches to meet diverse learning styles and language needs
  • Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding progress and upcoming lessons
  • Collaborate with the Wiz Learning curriculum team to continuously improve course materials

Qualifications

  • Experience teaching or tutoring K–12 students in coding or STEM-related subjects
  • Proficiency in tools and languages such as Scratch, Roblox, Python, and/or other relevant platforms
  • Passion for STEM education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in children
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage young learners
  • Ability to manage a virtual classroom, including facilitating hands-on learning and addressing questions
  • Familiarity with online teaching platforms and technology (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom)
  • Degree in Computer Science, Education, STEM, or a related field preferred, but not required if relevant experience is demonstrated
