Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable tutor in Chemistry, Advanced Functions, and Calculus to join our Markham location. The ideal candidate will inspire students, make learning enjoyable, and foster a positive outlook on education. Sessions are primarily weekday evenings (5:00 PM – 8:00 PM), with occasional online sessions available.

Duties

  • Tutor high school students in Chemistry, Advanced Functions, and Calculus.
  • Build consistent relationships with students through regular sessions.
  • Motivate students to understand concepts, solve problems, and achieve academic success.
  • Use provided teaching materials.
  • Support students in homework help and concept reinforcement.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Chemistry and advanced high school math (Functions, Calculus).
  • Degree in a related field or currently pursuing one.
  • Minimum 2 years of tutoring experience.
  • Passionate, positive, and able to make learning enjoyable.
  • Organized, reliable, and results-driven.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Schedule:

  • Weekdays from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM (minimum 3 days per week).
  • Some flexibility for online sessions as needed.

Location:

  • Markham, ON (in-person preferred)
  • Some online tutoring flexibility

Position Type: Part-time, permanent.
