As a Senior Supply Chain Specialist – Mechanical Components at Vention…

You'll play a pivotal role in optimizing Vention's global supply chain for mechanical components. You'll balance cost efficiency, supplier relationships, delivery performance, and quality to support the rapid scaling of our platform. Your work ensures that thousands of manufacturers worldwide receive the parts they need on time, at the right cost, and with the reliability Vention is known for.

What You'll Do

• You'll manage end-to-end procurement for mechanical components, ensuring availability while balancing cost, lead time, and quality.
• You'll build and maintain strong supplier relationships, conduct business reviews, and negotiate pricing and contracts to support long-term growth.
• You'll collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to resolve supply issues, assess risks, and implement corrective or preventive actions.
• You'll analyze spend, monitor supplier KPIs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
• You'll support new product introductions by ensuring supply readiness, qualification of new suppliers, and alignment with production requirements.
• You'll contribute to developing scalable procurement and inventory strategies as Vention's product portfolio expands.

You'll bring:

• Proven experience in supply chain, strategic sourcing, or procurement — ideally with mechanical components.
• Strong negotiation abilities and experience managing supplier relationships.
• Solid analytical skills and comfort working with data to drive decisions.
• Experience working cross-functionally with technical and operational teams.
• Knowledge of cost modeling, supplier performance evaluation, and risk mitigation.
• Experience in a manufacturing, hardware, or industrial automation environment.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain forecasting tools.
• Ability to read technical drawings and understand mechanical component specifications.
• A curiosity to learn, a collaborative mindset, and a drive to contribute to something meaningful.
