Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this individual is responsible for leading the team to deliver excellent customer service consistent with Trail Appliances expectations by driving the overall improvement of all warehouse duties, customer service, techniques and objectives.
As a Delivery Team Lead, you will- Provide leadership and support to your team, ensuring team and business goals are widely communicated and understood
- Demonstrate you are a strong team player by collaborating with your peers to promote positive relationships which deliver excellent results
- Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking and cohesive team effort
- Facilitate problem solving and collaboration
- Intervene when necessary to aid the group in resolving issues
- Coach and help develop team members
- ·Ensuring Health and Safety compliance is maintained at all times, addressing any potential risks immediately
- Escalate issues which cannot be resolved by the team
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum 2 years delivery experience (leading a team of 5 or more individuals)
- Experience with Driving 5 Ton Trucks - Minimum one year and a clean Drivers Abstract
- Minimum Grade 12 Education
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem solving skills in regards to customer service, including the ability to deal with situations where information is difficult to obtain, complex or ambiguous
- Ability to establish priorities, work and think independently and in a team-setting, handle multiple ongoing issues and achieve objectives without direct supervision
- Proficiency in MS Teams, Excel and Outlook.
- Teamwork You are a team player who is able to work independently with limited supervision
- Customer Service You are a people person and can be the liaison for the customer

- Scheduled 5 days a week from Tuesday to Saturday 7:00 am start until 3:30 pm (Occasional overtime as required)
