Job Description:

Summary
The Lead Generation Representative position expands Ryder foot print in the used vehicle sales market and shortens the sales cycle by turning over more highly qualified leads to Used Vehicle Sales Managers. This position is responsible for providing qualified leads in multiple geographic territories.

Work Type: Full-time, permanent

Salary: base pay $40,000 - $45,000 annually + commission

Shift:   Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm

Essential Functions

  • Engages in lead nurturing and based on the prospects needs, assesses whether and when the Lead merits one-on-one attention (No cold calling)

  • Accomplishes one-on-one nurturing and based on needs assessment determines if the lead merits assigning a used vehicle sales resource

  • Schedules meetings between the Sales Qualified and a Used Vehicle Sales Manager

  • Educates and develops prospects regarding Ryder's UVS Value Proposition and Services offered

  • Maintains a high level of call volume in order to pass qualified leads to UVS Managers, set customer appointments and generate revenue dollars

Additional Responsibilities

  • Can recognize customer pain points and offer Ryder solutions; converse on transportation industry topics

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities

  • Bilingual (English and French) preferred.

  • Possesses strong technical aptitude

  • Ability to use technology and self-motivated to accurately research and engage customers to identify future opportunities

  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)

  • Able to communicate clearly with C-Level customer and with experience Ryder Sales Team

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to write clear, concise emails and speak effectively to multiple levels in an organization

  • Ability to read and/or listen and understand information and ideas communicated

  • Demonstrate sales aptitude, assertive, persistent, good listener, self-motivated, excellent closing skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma preferred with business/marketing or equivalent experience

  • Three (3) years or more successful sales /call center experience preferred

  • Three (3) years or more prior Inside sales experience preferred

  • Experience with Salesforce and Five9 an asset

Compensation Information:

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:
