The Role
RedMane has a full-time opportunity for a Technical Architect as we continue to grow our Vancouver based practice. The Technical Architect is a hands-on role responsible for architecture and driving the development of our low code, highly configurable SaaS product. This role will work on a dynamic development team in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver a customized solution for our clients. Mentor team members in design, coding practices, and software development policies and guidelines.
Day to Day Activities Include
- Envisioning innovative solutions for complex problems, leveraging advanced understanding of software engineering principles.
- Leading technical design sessions, prototype work, and proofs-of-concept.
- Hands-on analysis, design, and development to enable further product scalability and interoperability.
- Working with the project manager to remove obstacles, review design, and ensure releases meet the needs of stakeholders.
- Mentoring team members in design, coding practices, and software development policies and guidelines.
- Actively contributing to software development design and coding standards.
- Verifying all completed work follows best practices and engineering standards.

Supporting cross-functional teams in testing, deploying, and implementing the product.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software development as a full stack developer.
- 2+ years of engineering leadership experience, preferably in a C#, .NET, and SQL Server environment.
- 2+ in enterprise-level platforms for custom solution building, preferably in a cloud/Azure environment.
- Experienced in use of AI in software development
- Led teams of 5-10 developers.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to individuals with varying levels of technical understanding.
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Proven ability to efficiently learn and apply new ideas and concepts.
- Ability to organize time, staff, and projects efficiently.
