Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting various warehouse operations, including order picking, shipping and receiving, and operating heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse distribution, mechanical knowledge, and familiarity with warehouse management systems. This position offers an opportunity to work with heavy equipment such as forklifts and cranes, contributing to efficient warehouse flow and inventory management.

Duties

  • Perform order picking accurately using warehouse management systems and order picker equipment
  • Load and unload shipments utilizing heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and cranes
  • Operate heavy machinery safely, including forklifts and other warehouse equipment
  • Assist in shipping & receiving processes, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch of goods
  • Support warehouse organization by maintaining clean and orderly storage areas
  • Conduct inventory counts and report discrepancies promptly
  • Support construction or maintenance tasks within the warehouse as needed
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all operations involving heavy lifting or equipment operation

Requirements

  • Prior experience in warehouse distribution or related fields preferred
  • Mechanical knowledge and experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and clamp trucks
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
  • Experience in order picking, shipping & receiving, and load & unload procedures
  • Knowledge of construction or industrial environments is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to operate heavy machinery safely following all safety guidelines
  • Physical stamina to perform manual tasks for extended periods

This position is integral to maintaining efficient warehouse operations through skilled handling of goods, equipment, and inventory management. We value safety, teamwork, and a proactive approach to daily tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
