Spiritwear Canada provides custom decorated apparel to Businesses, Schools, Colleges and Universities throughout Canada. We are a passionate team of people that take great pride in the quality of work we do and the exceptional service we provide to our customers.
We currently have an opportunity for a highly intelligent, extremely organized individual to join our production team as Logistics and Production Coordinator. This individual is instrumental to our operation ensuring the correct product, quantities, sizes, etc., are received correctly for every custom order prior to production. The successful candidate will have exceptional memory recall and the ability to retain product, customer and order details knowledge. From receiving products to shipping completed orders, this individual is the liaison between the customer or account representative and our Embroidery and Screen Printing departments.
Some responsibilities Include:
- Receiving incoming shipments of garments from suppliers and customer deliveries
- Verify correct quantity, style and colour of garments against purchase orders
- Communicate any discrepancies or damaged garments to the appropriate supplier for replacement or returns
- Allocate the received products from various suppliers to the required custom order for production
- Update internal tracking system to move orders through production processes
- Monitor production scheduling system to ensure orders are on-track to meet deadlines
- Communicating with production departments of any product delays or order changes
- Sort, pick and pack custom orders for shipping
- Prepare outgoing shipments through ship-station, rate checking per location\carrier\transit times.
- Assist with embroidery and screen-printing production when needed
The Successful candidate is:
- Highly organized and can recall details from memory
- Has an extremely keen eye for details
- Is a natural problem solver with a strong work ethic
- Able to Multi-task in a fast-paced environment while managing priorities
- Has excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Has good math skills and can accurately count and multiply
- Is outgoing with a positive, professional attitude
- Is a true team player and can play other positions when needed
- Has strong computer skills
- Able to lift boxes weighing up to 40lbs
- Has experience working in warehouse or production environment
- Has experience with online shipping systems
- Has previous experience working with apparel
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $46,000.00-$56,000.00 per year
