Role Overview
As a hands-on leader, you will set the tone for performance and professionalism on-site. You'll work closely with trades, suppliers, and team members to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate sub-trades, suppliers, and on-site personnel to ensure efficient workflow and accountability.
- Plan and manage daily site activities to maintain schedule and budget compliance.
- Maintain construction management software to track progress and project updates (experience with Buildertrend considered an asset).
- Perform hands-on work as required, including framing, drywall, taping, paint touch-ups, and basic carpentry.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized job site at all times.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents accurately.
- Promote a culture of safety, organization, and respect on-site.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of construction experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of residential construction practices and the Ontario Building Code.
- Proven ability to manage and maintain project schedules.
- Proficient with hand tools and general site equipment.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Valid G driver's license, reliable vehicle, and CSA-approved safety boots required.
