Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen Aide to support our culinary team in providing exceptional food service. This role involves assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, experience in food handling, and a strong work ethic to contribute to a positive dining environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation and cooking under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste
  • Handle food items safely, following proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met
  • Support in setting up serving areas and replenishing supplies during meal service
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and report any issues promptly
  • Follow health and safety guidelines consistently to promote a safe working environment
  • Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock levels

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation, and cooking techniques is advantageous
  • Experience with cleaning and maintaining sanitation standards in a commercial kitchen setting is desirable
  • Familiarity with hospitality practices, including serving and food handling procedures, will be beneficial
  • Prior experience in food service or hospitality roles demonstrates strong customer service skills and teamwork abilities
