Hotel Conventions Administrator
Full-time, Permanent
Description: You will liaise with the Convention Coordinators to assist with daily reports and group function booking and detailing. Will be preparing cost estimates, contracts, answering phone calls for group inquiries, replying to group email inquiries, preparing excel reports and completing general administration responsibilities regarding Convention functions.
Assist Convention Coordinators as required including assisting clients by phone, e-mail or in person and any other duties as assigned by Director of Sales.
Hours: Approximately 40+ hours a week. Typically, a Monday to Friday position with a rotating Saturday schedule.
Requirements:
Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills in all disciplines: in person, telephone, email, reporting. Attention to detail, excellent coordination to meet all deadlines and strong proficiency in Microsoft office, excel. Minimum 3 years administration with preference of hospitality/hotel experience. Second language is an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
