Comfort Keepers is looking for a Health Care Aide to join our growing team. We are a leading in-home care provider for seniors and other adults that require a helping hand or companionship in their home.

In this position, you will provide non-medical, in-home support, and home management services. Join a growing family dedicated to providing companionship, personal care, and other health care needs for seniors in their own homes. Both part and full-time positions available. Our Personal Support Workers provide exceptional in-home and companion experiences and assist with services detailed in our customized personal care service plans.

Must currently be living in Victoria, BC

Job Requirements:

Genuinely concerned about helping peopleAccess to a mobile phone (data-enabled preferred) and internetHCA Certification or related experienceRegistry number – preferred Current First Aid and CPR TrainingCurrent Police Record checkAssisting in the delivery of client care and home support services under the direction of the health care team.Assist clients with care, observe, and report significant changes in the client's presentation.Collaborate with the health care team, clients, and their caregivers to maximize independence with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).Assist clients with Bathing, showering, dressing, mobility, feeding, toiletingAssist with household activities including  Meal prep, shopping for groceries laundry etc. Driver's License and a reliable vehicle always an asset but not requiredAssist clients with Bathing, showering, dressing, mobility, feeding, toiletingAssist with household activities including  Meal prep, shopping for groceries laundry etcAvailable to work weekends and some overnight shifts is a bonus
