Willowdale School of Music is looking for a Piano & Voice Teacher (must be able to teach both) to join our teaching team immediately in January. Lessons will run in-person out of our North York location at 5927 Yonge St (Yonge & Cummer) and online via Zoom.

We are looking to fill the following positions (including but not limited to):

  • Tuesdays: 3:30 - 9:00 PM
  • Thursdays: 3:30 - 9:00 PM
  • Saturdays: 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Contract:

  • Employee status with three months probationary period
  • Pay range is $34 - $37/hour (with 4% holiday pay & EI/CPP/tax remittances)

The successful applicant must:

  • Have minimum 2 years experience working with students ages 4 and up
  • Be able to teach both piano and voice
  • Have a Bachelors of Music or equivalent degree in their main instrument and proficient in teaching their secondary instrument

The successful candidate will be required to submit a Vulnerable Sector Check at the time of hiring.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $34.00-$37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 15 per week
