Senior Sales Account Manager

Remuneration: From CA$60,000 to 90,000.00 per year to commensurate with experience

Account Manager Job Responsibilities:

· Identify new sales opportunities and drive revenue growth with focus on the automotive industry

· Develops new business maintain relationships with OEMs, Tier 1 and Teir 2 customers.

· Identifies potential in accounts by studying current business; identifying and evaluating additional needs; analyzing potential opportunities.

· Initiates sales process by building relationships; qualifying potential; scheduling appointments.

· Understanding customer needs and provide tailored solutions for their packaging and material handling challenges

· Collaborate with engineering and productions teams to ensure seamless execution.

· Represent Delta 70 at industry events, trade shows, of course with customers.

· Develops sales by making initial presentation; explaining product and service enhancements and additions; introducing new products and services.

· Closes sales by overcoming objections; preparing contracts.

· Contributes information to sales strategies by evaluating current product results; identifying needs to be filled; monitoring competitive products; analyzing and relaying customer reactions.

· Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

· Travel is a key element to this position; a valid passport is required and must be maintained

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of automotive packaging, logistics and supply chain management
  • Experience managing partnerships with steel packaging or material handling companies
  • Client base mindset

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration preferred
  • Industry experience a plus
  • 5+ years sales experience in sales with an emphasis in the automotive industry
  • 3+ years of program management experience
  • Estimating experience is a bonus
  • Proven track record in business development, account management, and closing deals.
