YLaw is a leading and rapidly growing law firm specializing in family, employment, estate, strata, and other practice areas. We are currently seeking a professional, client-focused Receptionist / Client Relations team member for our Langley office St).

As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, you will play a key role in delivering a warm, polished, and seamless experience. This role also supports the daily operations of the office and contributes to our high standards of client service. You'll join a collaborative, high-performing team that values professionalism, innovation, and care.

This position is full-time in-office at our Langley office (Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, with one half-day off bi-weekly).

Key Responsibilities

Client Experience and Reception

  • Greet and assist clients and visitors in a professional and confidential manner
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming calls and inquiries
  • Schedule consultations, client appointments, and internal meetings
  • Maintain a tidy, organized, and welcoming reception area

Administrative Support

  • Prepare, draft, and send professional internal and external emails
  • Maintain and update client files (physical and digital), ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Scan, file, and organize documents and correspondence
  • Handle incoming/outgoing mail and courier packages
  • Manage office and kitchen supply inventory, place orders, and coordinate deliveries
  • Operate office equipment (phones, printers, scanners, etc.)
  • Assist with light data entry, document formatting, and administrative tasks as needed
  • Support lawyers, paralegals, and the admin team in daily office operations

Firm Knowledge and Professionalism

  • Maintain working knowledge of YLaw's services, processes, and protocols
  • Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and client service standards at all times

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a reception, client service, or administrative role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Experience in a legal or professional services environment is an asset

Compensation, Benefits and Perks:

  • Salary: $48,000-$52,000
