Job Description – SharePoint Consultant (SharePoint Migration)

Position Overview

We are seeking a
SharePoint Consultant
with hands-on experience in SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint migration activities. The consultant will support migration, content validation, customization, and QA tasks, working closely with project and technical teams to ensure smooth and accurate migration of SharePoint content.

Key Responsibilities

1. SharePoint Technical Expertise

  • Work with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 to support content migration and site configuration.
  • Customize SharePoint lists, views, and pages.
  • Develop and modify Power Apps forms as required.
  • Assist with workflows, preferably using
    Power Automate
    .
  • Apply basic HTML/CSS for formatting corrections, image/link fixes, and page layout updates.
  • Support InfoPath form remediation or conversion to modern alternatives.

2. Migration Support & Quality Assurance

  • Participate in SharePoint migration activities including pre-checks, mapping, and post-migration validation.
  • Perform detailed
    content validation
    , link and functionality testing, and consistency checks across sites/libraries.
  • Identify and document migration issues and work with technical teams for resolution.
  • Follow structured QA procedures to ensure accuracy of migrated content.

3. Soft Skills & Operational Excellence

  • Carefully execute repetitive and high-volume tasks with strong attention to detail.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure precise documentation of completed tasks.
  • Communicate clearly with onsite/offshore team members and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate in an organized manner, supporting overall project timelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous hands-on experience in
    SharePoint migration projects

  • Exposure to classic vs. modern SharePoint architecture and page design.
  • Experience working with distributed or hybrid teams.
