Manufacturing Quoting Engineer

This newly created position of Manufacturing Quoting Engineer will help support our customer RFQs, develop accurate manufacturing costs, and help drive the future of our digital quoting systems.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Review customer RFQs, drawings, and CAD models to prepare accurate quotes.
• Analyze manufacturability and determine routing, materials, and production processes.
• Interpret BOMs and understand GD&T requirements.
• Use Paperless Parts and internal tools to generate pricing and lead times.
• Develop and maintain machine cycle times, burden rates, overhead, and manufacturing rates for costing.
• Lead the development of an automated online quoting platform by building pricing logic and workflow rules.
• Work with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to refine estimates and improve quoting accuracy.

Other Skills

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, estimating, quoting, or applications engineering.
• Strong ability to read CAD drawings and models; familiarity with CAD software.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining, welding, and finishing.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with Paperless Parts or ERP systems (asset).

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
