About Homemade Baking Co.

Homemade Baking Co. is a Sudbury-based company specializing in gourmet cookies with a purpose. We partner with foundations and community organizations across Ontario to raise funds for local initiatives. Every cookie we sell helps make a difference, one community at a time.

About the Role

As a Community Event Ambassador, you'll represent our brand at pop-up events and fundraisers. You'll engage with customers, share our story, manage on-site sales, and ensure every event runs smoothly.

What You'll Do

  • Set up, operate, and close down event booths.
  • Greet and engage with customers and community partners.
  • Share Homemade Baking Co.'s mission and products with enthusiasm.
  • Handle on-site sales, payments, and inventory tracking.
  • Coordinate with our Founders for event logistics and restocking.
  • Travel within your assigned territory (up to 2 hours each way).

  • Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (required)
  • Comfortable with light lifting (up to 25 lbs).
  • Customer service, events, or retail experience is an asset.

Compensation

  • $200.00 base pay per event
  • 10% commission on all sales
  • $50.00 travel stipend per event

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $200.00 per day

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
