LeverageTek is actively seeking a AI Vision & Maturity for a 3-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer

Work Location

  • Hybrid

Key Tasks

  • Conduct an independent assessment of the organization's AI strategy, governance, operating model, and technology across people, process, and tools, benchmarked against industry best practices.
  • Lead discovery, stakeholder workshops, and gap analysis to identify governance, risk, capacity, and operational improvement opportunities.
  • Develop an executable AI playbook, including a clear AI vision, governance model, support structure, training and communications plan, and a phased 5-year AI maturity roadmap.

Key Qualifications

  • Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise AI strategies, governance models, and operating frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of responsible AI, risk management, ethics, and regulatory considerations.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into practical, executive-ready deliverables and roadmaps.

Assets

  • Experience benchmarking AI maturity against industry peers and best practices.
  • Background working with complex, regulated, or safety-critical organizations.
  • Hands-on experience facilitating executive and cross-functional workshops to drive alignment and adoption.

Compensation:
Hourly Rate Negotiable
