Location: This is a hybrid role with a minimum in-office requirement of 3 days per week in the Austin, Texas office located at 11305 Alterra Parkway Austin, TX 78758 or the Las Colinas, Texas office located at 225 E John W Carpenter Fwy #1500, Irving, TX 75062.

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced UX Designer with AI Transformation expertise to help evolve how our design organization works and how we build AI-driven cybersecurity products.

This role sits at the intersection of design craft, emerging technology, and organizational change. You will partner closely with UX leadership to introduce AI-powered methods, tools, and workflows that elevate our team's creativity, efficiency, and impact across a global design organization.

As part of this journey, you will also contribute directly to the design of AI-based security experiences; translating complex intelligence, automation, and risk insights into intuitive, trustworthy, and human-centered solutions.

You will act as both a hands-on designer and a strategic catalyst, helping define how AI can augment our design practice and empower cross-functional teams to deliver next-generation cybersecurity experiences that make the digital world safer and smarter.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead AI based Design initiatives that enhance cybersecurity experiences and evolve how our design team works; partnering with UX leadership to integrate AI into processes, tools, and decision-making.

  • Advocate for design excellence and transformation, sharing best practices and helping others in the organization adapt to new AI-augmented ways of working.

  • Experiment with AI-assisted design methods from research and ideation to prototyping and validation to improve design efficiency and elevate creative output.

  • Project Execution: partner with product management and engineering to balancing short-term delivery needs with long-term product goals.

  • Apply creative problem-solving to produce high-quality, research-based design solutions that address complex user and business challenges in the cybersecurity domain.

  • Foster a collaborative culture by working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Data Scientists, and fellow Designers to align on goals, decisions, and outcomes.

  • Communicate designs effectively through clear documentation, storytelling, and cross-functional presentations.

  • Contribute to the evolution of our design system and workflow, integrating AI tools that enhance collaboration, scalability, and consistency across the product ecosystem.

  • Bonus Points:

    • Knowledge of the cybersecurity industry or IT management.

    • Experience with design systems and platform design work.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years in UX or Product Design, ideally within SaaS or IT platforms, designing for complex, data-driven environments.

  • AI & Innovation: Experience or strong curiosity in leveraging AI to enhance product experiences or streamline design workflows. Familiarity with AI-assisted tools such as LLM, AI IDE or more is a plus.

  • Design Tools: Proficiency with Figma is a must; familiarity with other prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision) is a bonus.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, capable of balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.

  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to present and explain design rationale to both technical and non-technical audiences. Mandarin proficiency is a plus.

  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams. A team player who can also work independently.

  • Agile Development: Experience working in agile or fast-paced development environments, with strong time-management skills and comfort iterating quickly.

  • User-Centered Design: Deep understanding of user-centered design, interaction design, and information architecture. Capable of delivering product design solutions, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final designs.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in UX Design, Human–Computer Interaction (HCI), Product Design, or an equivalent practical background.

  • Portfolio: Demonstrated examples of high-quality design work, including projects that show experimentation with AI, automation, or data-driven design processes.
